The Rotary Club is now accepting applications for candidates who in 2007 performed above and beyond the call of duty. Noteworthy achievements could include superior in-service performance, state/national recognition within profession/trade, community/civic service, or self-advancement/continuing education.
Applications are available here. The deadline for nominations is March 14. The recipient will be announced March 24, and the Awards Banquet will be held April 24, 2008, 6:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel on 19th Street near the Oceanfront.
All city employees are eligible except: Rotarians, City Council members and other elected officials, City Manager, Assistant City Managers, and City Department directors.
The recipient will be recognized by having his/her name engraved on a plaque which lists all previous winners and is permanently displayed in the Municipal Center. A personal Certificate of Recognition and engraved Revere Cup will also be presented.
