On November 18, members joined other community volunteers to fill 2,100 care packages for our military heroes.
Chelsea Mandello, founder of Troopster Military Care Packs, presented a program at our club recently to promote her organization’s project that was held at on Saturday, November 18th at Top Golf where our club’s Rotarians and many other area volunteers prepared 1,200 care packs to send to our deployed troops for the holidays. Additionally, besides providing volunteers, our club agreed to be a $100.00 sponsor (includes our club’s name in the care pack when it is sent to a member of the deployed military), and many of our members contributed various food and non-food items for the event.
